MAINSTAGE CHRISTMAS 2025 PRODUCTION- A CHRISTMAS CAROL, A LIVE RADIO PLAY.
3:15PM- 4:30PM (1st semester class only)
MUST BE ENROLLED IN THEATRE FOR GRADES 6-8  or THEATRE FOR GRADES 9-12 to audition for this production.
The Charles Dickens holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast, complete with vintage commercials for fruitcake (extra-fancy), and the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. Actors bring dozens of characters to the stage, as the familiar story unfolds: Three ghosts take Ebenezer Scrooge on a thrilling journey to teach him the true meaning of Christmas. A charming take on a family favorite that will leave no one saying "Bah Humbug!"
This will be an audition only production open to students in THEATER FOR GRADES 6-8 AND THEATRE FOR GRADES 9-12.  You will audition to be cast in the show and casting is not guaranteed. This is different than our MainStage end of the year production, where we audition for role placement and all enrolled Theatre students are cast in our end of the year MainStage musical.  If cast in A CHRISTMAS CAROL, A LIVE RADIO PLAY, a modest production fee will be due and may be paid monthly or in full at time of casting.  If you have participated in our Christmas production in previous years the production fee will be on par with the monthly tuition that was paid for that class.
