DANCE CLASS DRESS CODES

​

All dance shoes, bags, and property of the dancer should be labeled with the dancer’s name.
No gum, food or drinks are allowed during class time. Water bottles are an exception.

Ballet classes-

Ballet Ages 3-4 and Ages 5-8- Girls- Pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers.

Boys are to wear a fitted white T-shirt and black mid-thigh bicycle shorts or black soccer style shorts, black socks and black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers.

Ballet for Ages 9-12 and Ballet II for Ages 13 & up-  Ballet 9-12- girls black leotard, pink footed tights and pink ballet slippers.   Ballet II for 13 & up- girls-  black leotard, Pink convertible tights and pink ballet slippers.

Boys are to wear a fitted white T-shirt and black mid-thigh bicycle shorts or black soccer style shorts, black sock with black ballet slippers or white socks with white ballet slippers.

Hair should be pulled back from the face and off the neck and worn in a bun for Ballet if length allows. 

Jazz, Contemporary/ Modern classes-
DRESS CODE for Jazz - Girls: black leotard, pink or black tights or black jazz pants, black jazz shoes or pink ballet slippers. In Jazz /Contemporary class, a ponytail may be worn.

Boys: fitted white t- shirt, black jazz pants or black mid-thigh bicycle shorts or black soccer style shorts with black ballet slippers or jazz shoes.

Tap class-
DRESS CODE FOR TAP- Black tap shoes required.  Easy to move in clothing, similar to what you would wear in jazz class.

Hip Hop

DRESS CODE FOR HIP HOP- You may wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes or easy to move in sneakers.  Easy to move in clothing, similar to what you would wear in jazz/tap class.
