THEATRE I FOR GRADES 4-51:30PM 

1st semester class time- 1:00PM- 1:45PM;

(Class time extends 2nd semester to accommodate for our end of the year musical production class/rehearsal. Some time during 2nd semester class/ rehearsal time will change to 1:30pm -4:30pm). 

Looking for a class that sparks creativity, builds confidence, and helps your child shine? Theatre for Grades 4-5 is more than just acting—it's a space where students grow as performers, collaborators, and individuals.
In this high-energy, hands-on class, students will learn:

  • Storytelling and Acting
  • Theatre Etiquette 
  • Creative Movement & Pantomime
  • Expressing emotions and ideas through movement
  • Voice & Expression
  • Improvisation
  • Character Building

Whether your child is outgoing or just beginning to find their voice, this class helps them step into the spotlight in a supportive, inclusive environment. 
By the end of the 2nd semester, students will have the opportunity to share their work in a live MainStage musical performance.

Theatre for Grades 4-5 students learn the craft of acting in an interactive and fun theatre class and apply what they have learned by putting together our end of the year Broadway musical during the 2nd semester (there is a modest production fee in addition to tuition to offset the MainStage production costs, don't worry we have fundraiser opportunities) .



​​​​​HOMESCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CLASSES FOR ELEMENTARY GRADES 4-5

SING DANCE ACT = FUN WITH LYT.    

  • Weekly homeschool performing arts classes meet on Mondays and the fall semester begins September 8th. Enrollment is for the school year, Sept- May. We understand a homeschool family budget and we allow the annual tuition to be paid monthly.
  • REGISTRATION IS OPEN. 
  • ENROLL IN THE FULL PROGRAM BUNDLE (take theatre for your grade level and all dance class for your age group) AND SAVE 5% ON TUITION.
  • For ease of registration we have simplified the dance class selection, but most dance classes will have two levels,teachers will determine a students level at the first class for new students and at the end of the current school year for returning students. If a dance class has two levels it will take place at the same time, so just select the dance class for your age.
  • STACKED CLASS SCHEDULING IS SET TO MAXIMIZE LEARNING AND INCLUDES A SET LUNCH BREAK FOR ALL 

DANCE


TAP & JAZZ COMBO FOR AGES 9-12
10:15AM- 11:10AM​  
$45/month. 

​Tap is percussive style of dance where dancers use their feet as an instrument. Our tap classes focus on musicality, timing, and rhythm. Jazz will be taught to age appropriate music focusing on technique, rhythm, body awareness, simple choreography and high-energy fun!  


BALLET FOR AGES 9-12 
11:15AM- 12:00PM

The foundation of all dance forms. Body placement, flexibility, balance, alignment, strength and technique are achieved through barre and center floor work.



HIP HOP FOR AGES 9-12 
12:30PM- 1:00PM
​​$30 PER MONTH. 

Hip Hop dance focuses on movement quality, rhythm and body articulation to great fun Christian/ clean music.

SING/VOICE


GROUP VOICE FOR AGES 9-18
9:30AM- 10:10AM
Tuition: $26/mo, semester supply fee of $10
Teen love to sing, and this class will help their voices grow in an encouraging and personal environment. Included in this class are warm-ups, breathing exercises, sight-singing, note recognition, introduction to music theory, score reading, appropriate repertoire including Broadway, pop and folk songs through solo and ensemble singing. Group and solo singing is included.


PRIVATE VOICE
Each 30 minute lesson is individually designed for the student and will include one-on-one training in musical theatre vocal technique, building a vocal repertoire, as well as performance coaching. 
After registration,lessons are scheduled with instructor.
$25 per lesson (paid monthly), Semester supply fee of $15 per student

PRIVATE VOICE LESSONS-
24 Hour Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy (any notifications under 24 hours notice will result in the student forfeiting the lesson fee)

GROUP GUITAR 


GROUP GUITAR

​In this group lesson, students who are brand new to the guitar will be introduced to everything they need to know to get started on their guitar journey. Guitar Level 1 students will learn notes and chords in the first position which they’ll use to play familiar songs and melodies. Students will learn technique, note-reading, and music theory while keeping the focus on learning to play and enjoy music! Lessons will be group-oriented, but offer individual check-ins with the instructor to ensure each guitarist stays on track.
